Shafa’ah (intercession) is a complete manifestation of the amiable attribute of God. The cause of its appearance is the origin of the Holy Prophet’s particularisation, namely, the Divine Name “the Living,”  “the Self-Subsisting”. The function of this Name is to cause the sins established in the Scrolls to disappear. Every prophet is entitled to intercede according to the nature of his perfection and his nearness to the Real, the Complete Good (god). The person who are nearest to the Prophets will be blesss with their intercession the most. This is the reason why invoking the blessing and benedictions of God upon them has been established as a part of law. The intercession of the Holy Prophet is, however, the origin of all intercessions. What has been ascertanined by me is that, even though this material is also a part of the blessings of his (Holy Prophert’s) perfections, yet in that world his blessing will make a bold and dazzling apperance before which the appearance of his blessing in this world will be found of low insignificance. Refering to that, the Holy Prophet has said: “Adam and all others on that day will be under my banner and there is no boast in this. (al-khair al-kathir, pp.166).

Nay, it is that tajjalli itself which prompts the intercessors for intercession and the begger for begging. “who is there to intercede before Him (God) without His permission”. “There are many angels in the heavens whose intercession will be of no avail to them, but only when He gives permission to him whom He likes and is pleased with”. It is He who make the servants the intercessors and inspires them with intercession. Like-wise it is He who inspires the servants with prayer and pleading and then accepts that (prayer and pleading) from them. He is, therefore, the
